Garden on the moon Cover Image Book Book

Garden on the moon / Translation by Xan Fielding.

Summary:

On the moon, just five years from now, will be planted a little garden. Its seeds were bred at Peenemunde, in eastern Germany, twenty-eight years earlier, for there the rocket scientists were inspired and driven by the "spirit of Peenemunde"--the vision of reaching the moon. At war's end, these men of passion were delighted, since they could now disperse and pursue their real interests. Some went West and some East, and one of them, Stern, came to America.
